Hong Kong Expressive Arts Therapy Service Center

Hong Kong Expressive Arts Therapy Service Center (HKEXAT) is the first Registered Charitable Organisation that uses Expressive Arts Therapy mainly as its therapeutic intervention in Hong Kong. HKEXAT was found by Registered Arts Therapists and Expressive Arts Therapists, who also graduated from Master of Expressive Arts Therapy in the University of Hong Kong. Expressive arts therapy (EXAT) is a multi-modal intervention approach integrating various arts, like visual art, music, drama, dance/ movement, creative writing, that fosters therapeutic outcomes of body-mind- spirit in a supportive environment. HKEXAT believes in the power of arts in facilitating creativity and potentials, promoting growth and changes individually or in-group.
