Rico Lau Ching Hei

Graduated from the Fine Arts department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Lau takes sketching and painting as the main creative media. He focuses on the linear representation of body structures and the process of signification in images. Through blurred, distorted, and restless portraits, he hopes to share the truth with people. His works have been exhibited in 1a space, SC Gallery, arthome, WURE AREA, Grotto SKW, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Aco Bookstore, and Hong Kong City Hall. Lau also tried to write about different exhibitions or works, and his articles have been published on the media platform of Art and Culture Outreach, Paratext and Stand News.
