Sousou & Maher Cissoko Hong Kong Debut

The Swedish/Senegalese duo Sousou & Maher Cissoko play the kora, a beautiful 21-string lute-harp used extensively in West Africa. Their music is influenced by Mbalax music from West Africa, and also Swedish folk music. They have played in more than 50 countries around the world, and are considered one of the best acts in the field of World Music. On 28 September, the duo will make their debut appearance in Hong Kong before heading to the Shanghai World Music Festival.
