Meimage Dance from Taiwan established the “New Choreographer” project in 2011, inviting Taiwanese dancers that are dancing aboard to choreograph a work at home each year with local Taiwan brands and designers. It becomes a platform where new choreographers explore sentiments for their homeland in their dance-making. This December, Meimage Dance is bringing three works to Limelight Taiwan – works by choreographers Chang Lan-yun and Lee Chen-wei from “New Choreographer 2014”, and by Meimage Dance Artistic Director Ho Hsiao-mei.
