Michele is first a human being, then a performing artist. She is also the former president of the International Playback Theatre Network, master in theatre studies, art and theatre educator, human rights advocate. Her work explores contemporary human connection, with an intention to create a strangely intimate experience.
Graduated from the School of Playback Theatre (now Centre for Playback Theatre) in 2003, Michele has since help promote playback theatre in Hong Kong and globally, providing a creative platform for people from different background, with different characteristics and live experiences. She is adamant in promoting inclusion in her work. Her audience and workshop participants include toddlers, children, youth, women, elders, LGBTIs and people with disabilities live experiences. She has been invited to perform and teach in different countries including Mainland China, Macao, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, USA, UK, Germany, Portugal, Brazil, Cuba, etc.
She has co-created Playback for All in 2008, the first accessibility services immersed Playback Theatre. She is now the artistic director of Let Go Playback Theatre and la la team.
