Doris LEE studied violin performance with Professor Lynn Blakeslee and graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a Master of Music degree in May 2011. She was the recipient of multiple scholarships and was nominated as one of the teaching assistants of the secondary violin program. She received the Licentiate Diploma of the Royal Schools of Music (L.R.S.M) with distinction and the Fellowship Diploma of the Trinity College London (F.T.C.L) in 2002 and 2007 respectively. Doris is currently assistant concertmaster of the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra and a violin instructor at the Yips’Children’s Choral and Performing Arts Center.
Born in Hong Kong, pianist LAI Bo Ling received the Bachelor of Music degree at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she studied with Nancy Loo and Gabriel Kwok. She went on to attend Texas Christian University, where she attained the Master of Music degree under the tutelage of Tamás Ungár. Her recent awards include ȊThe most distinguished musicianȋ in the IBLA World Competition in Italy, prize winner of the MTNA and Pi Kappa Lambda Honours competition, and the Solomon Piano Award from TCU. Now back in Hong Kong, Lai maintains a busy schedule teaching and performing.
