Playwright Scheme XI "I hate you, don't leave me"Prospects Theatre

Overview

The annual meeting is here!

This year marks the eleventh “Playwright Scheme” since it was launched in 2006. This year, Mr. Poon Wai-sum will bring together 19 playwrights to present 19 plays.

They are theatre practitioners in Chinese drama with their diverse expertise: seasoned pros in acting, theatre directors who think outside the box, the most sought-after playwrights, or 'crouching tigers, hidden dragons' who are ready to pounce with latent energy and gifts.

The audience will be surprised by the creativity and ideas that was inspired from everyday life, in the hope that you will feel and reflect on your lives.

Please support original plays! See you at the theatre!

Prospects Theatre adopts the "14•4•1" scheme this year: "14" long plays each in running time not more than 2 hours to be presented in fourteen sessions; "4" short plays each in running time not more than 45 minutes to be presented in two sessions; and two stage perforamnces of "1" selected play of last year's Playwright Scheme X in running time about 1 hour 15 minutes.
