Kong U Big Band presents its first annual concert!

Established in 2014, Kong U Big Band is the first big band based in a university in Hong Kong, with members mostly being undergraduates, postgraduates, staff and alumni of HKU.

The band has performed in a variety of events, including HKU's high table dinners, street shows, and the most recent one was a joint concert with Hong Kong DoujinPhilharmonia in Tsuen Wan Town Hall.

In this debut annual concert solely held by Kong U Big Band, we proudly present a repertoire of famous big band songs in different genres such as jazz standards, bebop, pop and latin, to introduce our audience to the world of big band and jazz music.
