Overview

Exceptional break dancers who truly turn their different abilities into killer dance moves
ILL-Abilities is an international break dance crew of seven differently-abled dancers whose goal is to inspire audience members with their positive attitudes and unique dance moves.

No Limits Concept Battle
Created by ILL-Abilities, this work challenges local dancers to think outside of the box. For each battle, dancers must spin a wheel to determine what props they will use during the performance—a wheelchair, a pair of crutches, or a blindfold—as they see beyond constraints and utilise the strengths of the objects in their dance.

Dis-Connect
In a world in which everything is interconnected, we are constantly searching for connections. At times, we feel disconnected from the universe. We ask ourselves: Where do we belong? In this new production, ILL-Abilities explores the premise of connection. Discover how individuals can bridge the gap and find their true connections amidst all the confusion.
