Musical powerhouses Esther Yoo (violin) and Zee Zee (piano) join hands once again in this captivating duo experience!

Esther Yoo rose to international attention as the youngest prize-winner at the International Sibelius Violin Competition (age 16) and the Queen Elisabeth Competition (age 18). Esther has since performed with leading conductors, including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gustavo Dudamel, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Vasily Petrenko and more. In addition to her solo albums for Deutsche Grammophon, Esther has also teamed up with Zee Zee and cellist Narek Haknazaryan to form the Z.E.N. Trio, releasing two recordings as a group under the same label.

The electrifying Chinese pianist Zee Zee (Zhang Zuo) is unique in her enthusiastic and technically masterful playing. Prize-winner of prestigious competitions including the Gina Bachauer and the Krainev International Piano Competition, Zee Zee plays regularly on the international stage including notable appearances at Wigmore Hall, the Kennedy Centre, Vancouver Recital Society and more. She also regularly works with some of today’s leading conductors including Paavo Järvi, with whom she collaborated in her Deutsche Grammophon recording of the Ravel and Liszt Concertos.
