萍嫁給華的那一年，她十八歲，華五十五歲。萍是新移民，華是香港人，他們生下了季與榮。四十年間，季渴望家庭完整，而萍卻渴望家庭的不完整，直至到華九十五歲，萍五十八歲，華患上了失智症，他失蹤了，而榮，亦提出了移民到新加坡的打算……在這場去與留的博弈裡，家庭，該連根拔起，還是落地開花？
