"Love in the Time of "Theatre du Pif

Inspired by the novel Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez
Performed in Cantonese and English with Chinese and English surtitles

Florentino, rejected by the beautiful Fermina at a young age, dedicates much of his adult life to erotic affairs in a desperate attempt to mend his broken heart.

Years after her rejection of him, Florentino approaches Fermina at her husband’s funeral and tells her, “I have waited for this opportunity for more than half a century, to repeat to you once again my vow of eternal fidelity and everlasting love.”

Theatre du Pif's Love in the Time of is a series of lyrical and imagistic episodes filled with poetry, music, movement and heightened moments of theatricality that explores the many facets of love.

- No latecomers will be admitted. Audience members are advised to arrive punctually.
- Running time approximately 100 minutes.
- Recommended for ages 6 and above.
- Theatre du Pif reserves the right to substitute artists and vary advertised programme.
- The performance venue may adjust the admission rules and/or seating. capacity/arrangement etc. as necessary for prevention of disease. Some audience seats may thus be reallocated, or ticket holder may thus be denied admission.
