Felt Your Pet: Make You Own Pet Fur CollarCentre for Heritage, Arts and Textile

Come and make with your furry best friend at The Hall of The Mills! In this workshop, we teach participants the basics of felting with pet fur. Participants may bring their own pet or bring fur already collected. The fur will then be felted into round beads which can be strung together to make a pet collar or a bracelet for the participant themselves.

Participants will receive a felting needle they can take home and all the tools and trims to make the collar.

Experience level: This activity is suited for beginners as well. Suitable for children aged 6 and above. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

Materials needed: Participants must provide their own pet fur. CHAT will provide all tools.
