Acclaimed British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor returns to Hong Kong with a virtuosic and lyrical programme of Chopin and Liszt.
Benjamin Grosvenor is heralded as one of the most important pianists to emerge from the UK in several decades. At a young age, Benjamin Grosvenor was already hailed as Gramophone’s Young Artist of the Year, and has been featured in two BBC documentaries. In 2011, Grosvenor became the youngest British musician ever, and the first British pianist in almost 60 years, to sign with Decca classics. His albums were awarded the Gramophone Concerto Award, a Diapason d’Or de L’Année, the Chocs de l’année and Prix de Caecilia.
Benjamin Grosvenor tours with the biggest names in the classical music world, including Paavo Järvi and Marin Alsop. Grosvenor frequents the most prestigious venues as a recitalist, including the Wigmore Hall, Kennedy Centre and Théâtre des Champs Elysées.
