Overview
The sheng is one of the oldest musical instruments in China, yet there are not many compositions specifically created for it. In this concert featuring vibrant talents of the new generation in the sheng community, the HKCO sheng ensemble will present a diverse repertoire of solo, ensemble and orchestral pieces composed by its Principal Sheng, Chen Yi-Wei. Come and enjoy the romantic ambiance of the Lantern Festival with the expressive, rich sounds of the sheng!
