Overview

As the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) celebrates reaching its 15th year milestone, its popular guided tours are being given a revamp too! Don’t miss the chance to join in the once-a-month cultural experience.

A factory-turned-vertical arts village, JCCAC is a local landmark and a product of the successful architectural revitalisation initiative which rejuvenated the heritage building and gave it new purpose and meaning through public engagement in the arts. In each edition of the guided tour, an artist will take participants on a journey of exploration through myriad exhibition spaces to soak up JCCAC’s vibrant and creative atmosphere, before leading them to try their hands at a bit of creative work in an arts-themed workshop. Early registration for participation is advised, as the tour and workshop groups are kept small and intimate.

The theme for the tour and workshop each month will be announced periodically on JCCAC’s social platforms - do follow to receive the latest news.

She will then conduct a workshop for participants to make a kaleidoscope with special photographic effect, as a souvenir of their encounter with this special place with an industrial past and artistic present.

- The event will be conducted in Cantonese.
