Overview

Every day, as you commute, go to school, and shop, you traverse the streets, brushing past different individuals. Countless stories unfold around you. Would there be an erupting passion that prompts people to connect and exchange stories?

To explore stories that belong to both you and me, “Love”, Pop, City” delves into the romantic stories of over 150 people in Hong Kong. From innocent first kisses to last wishes that transcend life and death, within these stories, there is romance, and also pain.

Some seek to experience romance by orchestrating an idol-drama-like first kiss.
Others, after tasting romance, gamble their entire life trajectory on it.

Some feel that removing masks leads to a loss of security,
while others believe that baring all is easier than being frank.

Some have stopped believing in lifelong partners since childhood,
yet others make century-long promises.

Some view marriage as an adjective,
while others see it as a verb.
Ultimately, how many believe that romance can endure for a century?

Interwoven are eight contemporary love stories, constructing the romance history of 21st-century Hong Kong. On December 8th, "Romance" unfolds on the stage.
