All About Us Film Festival 2023ifva, Hong Kong Arts Centre

National borders may divide us physically but never our hearts. Whether moving to a new place or staying where we are, we are all strangers when confronted with unfamiliar environment and cultural clashes. Struggling in this river called life, we always hope to find a home where our hearts belong.

Transcending the barriers of ethnicity, language and gender, “All About Us Film Festival 2023” connect stories of separation and dispersion caused by history, war or migration in various corners of the planet, to shed light on the living conditions of humans under different circumstances. This year, the film festival continues its focus on local ethnic minorities by screening short films produced by ethnic minority youth, and for the first time ever, organizing an exhibition and human library to present their local life experience, through which the audience will be invited to explore and reflect on their own values together.
