Overview

"New Traditional Korean Music Dance Performance: Playing under the Blue Moon" is a creative music and dance performance that revolves around the theme of the traditional Korean Festival Daeboreum ( Full Moon of the Lunar New Year ). Yeonhee Group 'YEONHWA' reinterprets various traditional celebration rituals, games, music, and dances through their performances of instrumental music, singing, and dancing. By incorporating the rhythms and characteristics of Pungmul ( Korean traditional folk music ) from different regions of Korea, they create new beats and melodies, presenting Korean traditional music in a vibrant modern style. Regardless of their age or background, audiences will be given an one and only chance to fully experience the vibrant and unique music, dance, and exciting energy of Korea.

 

- The program will be conducted with short introductions in Korean with Cantonese translation
