The Guarneri Quartet is fabled for its unique longevity and high-spirited virtuosity. "Indivisible by Four" written by their first violinist Arnold Steinhardt is its story from the inside --- a story filled with drama, humour, danger, compassion, and, of course, glorious music.
In this Book Club organised by Aura Music, we invited Cong Quartet to share their thoughts after reading and to perform some excerpts mentioned in the book — the first Mozart’s quartet they sightread, the first piece they performed, the last music they shared, etc. Author Arnold Steinhardt and translator Lincoln Hui will join us to share their views and answer your questions too!
- Free Seating
- All audience will receive a copy of the Chinese translated version of "Indivisible by Four"
