This time for SOUTH AFRICA!!
This month, it’s South African-themed with the joyful drumbeats, songs, and dance.
The 5th of December is the 10th anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s passing. As his legacy continues to touch many people, he is regarded as a shining example of the kind of leadership the world needs today.
Join us for an exciting opportunity to create music together with drums and percussion instruments from around the world.
Drum Jam is an interactive music-making programme designed for ALL levels from those who have never touched a musical instrument to experienced musicians.
The proven benefits of group drumming include stress relief, immune system strengthening and endorphins (happy hormone) release.
Drums and percussion instruments are provided but do bring yours along if you have one!
Facilitated by Japanese percussionist Kumi Masunaga and the Drum-Jam Team. There will be a performance by a special guest group.
It’s first-come, first-served, so come early to secure your seat and drum! The door opens at 7:30 pm.
