The Hong Kong Youth Saxophone Choir is thrilled to present the highly anticipated concert of the season, "Overture of Celebration"! Organized by the Hong Kong Youth Saxophonist and performed by the Hong Kong Youth Saxophone Choir ( Senior Section ), this concert is set to be a grand New Year's celebration, and we sincerely invite you to join us.

A group of young saxophone performers will showcase a diverse range of musical styles, including several saxophone quartet pieces. Prepare to be captivated by the vibrant energy of Vittorio Monti's "Czardas," the imaginative "Fantasy on a Theme of Jupiter" and "Ryukuan Fantasy" by Yasuhide Ito, and the deeply moving poignant song "Song of Life" by Takatsugu Muramatsu. These compositions beautifully blend classical and contemporary elements, delivering a truly unique experience.

Furthermore, the entire ensemble will present a series of captivating melodies. Revel in the lively and spirited "Romanian Folk Dances" by Béla Bartók, which showcases the rich cultural heritage of Romania through the resounding voices of saxophones. Then, immerse yourself in the grandeur of Jan Van der Roost's "Canterbury Chorale" and the thrilling "Danse Macabre" by Camille Saint-Saëns. Finally, Gustav Holst's energetic "First Suite in E-flat Major" will bring the concert to a magnificent close.
