In the 1930s and 1940s, swing dancing became popular with big band jazz music and became a part of popular culture. Jazz music and dance elements gradually made their way onto the movie theatre. In this cultural salon, we have invited film critic Lau Yam to explore and appreciate the song and dance films of the old era, and dance wildly in the light and shadow!
Event Guidelines:
-The event will be mainly conducted in Cantonese.
- Each person is limited to registrating 2 quota, each email can be used once only.
- There would be a HKD 50 deposit to reserve a spot. The deposit will be automatically refunded to the account used during registration within approximately 6 to 8 weeks after the event ends. Please note that the process may vary depending on the bank and deposit will not be refunded if participant did not attend the event.
- Handling fee inquired during deposit payment would not be refunded.
- If participant successfully notify the presenter of your cancellation at least 3 days before the event, you will be eligible for a full refund of the deposit. For more details, please contact the presenter directly.
