“Oddities Neglected Art of Design” Alice Mourou Solo Exhibition.Oddity Studio

Designers are not seen as artists, however we create art in our process. Our experiments, trials and errors are often left neglected, rejected, forgotten and deemed unnecessary. This bits and pieces, Odditites, are free from feedback, changes and market limitations. They are pure visual expressions of underlying concepts.

We tend to discard it. What if we don’t? What if rejects have more depth then the celebrated results of the design work?

This exhibition is a collection of sketches carefully pulled out from the darkness of archival folders into limelight. You may see them as unsuccessful logos, abstract art, loved dead, or something that you do and neglect as well.
