2024-25 18dART : Islands Community Arts Scheme - "islandSing" A Cappella Project WorkshopYat Po Singers

Yat Po Singers is going to Islands for the upcoming events of "18dART Community Arts Scheme" .

We will be holding courses and workshops, including the "Elementary A Cappella Classes", "Beatbox Workshops I" and "Physical Theatre Training Workshops I" Participants will be guided by professional tutors to learn A Cappella arts, and experience the joy of A Cappella firsthand.

All courses are free of charge. Certificates might be given upon course completion, and participants could also perform and showcase their talents at the “islandSing” Showcase Concert. Register NOW with the link below, until 19/6 (Wed)~

Priorities will be given as follows:
1. Residents/Students/Participants who work of Islands District
2. Applicants aged from 16 - 45 #
3. Applicants who are able to participate in “islandSing" Showcase Concert (26/10 TBC).

#Applicants out of this age range will be assigned to the waiting list.

- Participants will perform at "islandSing" Showcase Concert (26/10 TBC) after the completion of the courses/workshops.
- All workshops are free of charge.
- Participants of Elementary A Cappella Classes are required to pay a deposit of $400 by cheque at their first workshop attendance ($200 for senior citizens ages 60 or above and full-time students). The full deposit will be refunded if the attendance rate reaches 70% or above. Recipients of CSSA or participants with financial difficulties may apply for exemption from the deposit with relevant supporting documents, such as valid certificates issued by the WFSFAA or the Social Welfare Department.
- Elementary A Cappella Class and Beatbox Workshop I participants with 70% or above attendance rate will be awarded a certificate.
