July 2:Tango Jazz with Big Band
Starting with Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra ( SNJO ) conducted by Taka Hirohama, plays Count Basie's and Frank Sinatra's hits. Yvonne Barrie, a jazz vocalist with SNJO, sings Ella Fitzgerald's "I Got Rhythm", and more.
Mark Wu Yung Lung, a bandneonista from Taiwan, Hitoshi Hamada, a jazz vibraphonist from Japan, Justin Siu and his Hong Kong Tango members, play Tango Jazz with Big Band, scores from Astor Piazzolla and Gary Burton's ' The New Tango' album, "La Muerte Del Angel" "Vibraphonissimo", "Liber Tango" and more.
July 3: Afro-Cuban Big Band Jazz
Floro Jr Sernande, a Flutist Percussionist, leads Afro-Cuban Jazz with SNJO, scores from Dizzy Gillespie's Manteca, Tin Tin Deo, A Night in Tunisia, and more.
