Artbridger is proud to present our upcoming art exhibition “Elephant in the Hat”, a group show curated by @cyrus_lamprecht which will be taking place on 11-12th July 2024 at Soho House Hong Kong. Artbridger, together with 6 gallery partners, will be showcasing 55 artworks from 27 Asian emerging artists during the show.
This exhibition draws inspiration from the snake swallowing elephant analogy in “Le Petit Prince”, exploring the transformative power of imagination. As you enter the recreated world of the little prince in the exhibition, may you delve into the depths of contemplation and explore the human drive for tangible validation amidst the enigmatic realm of intangible elements.
“My drawing was not a picture of a hat.
It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant.
But since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, I made another drawing:
I drew the inside of the boa constrictor, so that the grown-ups could see it clearly.
They always need to have things explained.”
