The Central and Western District Office holds the “Look Closer and Wonder: Central and Western District in Miniature” Exhibition in Celebration of the 27th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at Pacific Place, Admiralty from now until 8 July. The exhibition showcases 22 exquisitely crafted miniature models, presenting to the public the important landmarks and distinctive features of the Central and Western District. Amongst them, there are a number of historic buildings —
Man Mo Temple Compound (Declared Monument)
King's College, Bonham Road, Mid-Levels (Declared Monument)
Duddell Street Steps and Gas Lamps, Central (Declared Monument)
Tai Kwun (Former Central Police Station Compound) (Declared Monument)
In addition to the miniature models, a 3.5-meter-high red brick arch and a special artistic installation celebrating the 27th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the Motherland are set up there. Let’s check in and take photos to commemorate this festive occasion!
