Welcome to join the once-a-month cultural experience 【Made in JCCAC】 at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC).
【Made in JCCAC】is divided into two parts:
JCCAC and studio tour (one hour)
Creative art experience workshop (1.5 hours)
A factory-turned-vertical arts village, JCCAC is a local landmark and a product of the successful architectural revitalisation initiative which rejuvenated the heritage building and gave it new purpose and meaning through public engagement in the arts. In each edition of the guided tour, our tour guide will take participants on a journey of exploration through myriad exhibition spaces to soak up JCCAC’s vibrant and creative atmosphere.
The theme of the Creative art experience workshop section changes every month. One of our resident artists would share their experience and insights in their fields of expertise, and then give on-site demonstrations and leading visitors to try their hands at a bit of light experience creative work in an arts-themed workshop; visitors can also peek into their studio and understand their unique working environment.
Early registration for participation is advised, as the tour and workshop groups are kept small and intimate.
Monthly themes are updated every three months and will be announced periodically on JCCAC’s social platforms - do follow to receive the latest news.

Different from other Creative art experience workshops of【Made in JCCAC】, this spiritual puzzle painting workshop focuses on getting along with and talking to own self. While reviewing the journey you have walked so far, learn to reconcile with your past self.
Kathy Chan believes that life is like a puzzle, and everyone has a "little half" living in their hearts. He/ She may not be perfect, but through different experiences, good or bad, his/ her “life puzzle” becomes enriched and complete. The little girl “Little Half” created by the illustrator Kathy Chan tells a story about growing from fear to dare, which is actually her life story.
In this workshop, participants can listen to the illustrator's creative story. With her guidance, they will use acrylic paint to draw on the puzzle, depicting the "little half" living inside themselves. You are welcome to share your experiences and feelings once you finished.
*The fee includes necessary paints and materials. If needed, participants can bring their own aprons or arm sleeves.
*Participants must be at least 16 years old.
- The event will be conducted in Cantonese.
# There are minimum and maximum participant numbers for each workshop. In case of workshop cancellation, we will notify you two days before the workshop. Art-mate will refund the fee you paid by way of the original payment method.
