In this age of image overload, how can we use our own photographs to create meaningful stories related to our memories and self-healing?

Techniques for Self-Exploration: Functions and Themes
Self-Awareness by observing your own behaviors and choices, uncover the underlying meanings to discover different facets of yourself: Why did you choose this particular object? What qualities of the object reprrsent you?

By utilizing all of our personal photos, even private items, through this photo collage workshop to explore and express our inner world, and create meaningful works of art that belong to us.

The entire workshop covers the complete process from basic introduction to practical creation, adding decorations, and completing the work.

* Participants need to bring photos, small objects, etc. as materials

i) Introduction: Photo collages from style and history. Introduction to the materials and tools needed for photo collages, such as scissors, adhesive, and various photographs, fabric and magazine tear sheets.
ii) Planning and composition: Exploring the concept of visual storytelling and techniques and organizing the collage layout, including Grids, focal points, and balance.
iii) Applying techniques for layering and arranging the cut-out photographs to create dynamic compositions and finishing touches.
iv) Exploring additional elements that can enhance the collage, such as personal items, handwritten captions, decorative elements, or mixed media.
v) Tips for adding final touches and creating a polished look.
vi) Sharing and feedback: A group discussion or presentation where participants can share their finished collages.

2 ) Sliver Coloring Enamel Workshop

Enameling is a craft technique that fuses metal and enamel. This art form originated in the ancient Middle East, combining the mastery of metalsmithing with the expertise of enamel firing by ceramic artists. By engraving patterns on a metal base and then filling the recesses with unique enamel powders, and firing at high temperatures, the final result is a translucent and dazzling decorative art piece.
Concurrent with the art exhibition, a workshop on fish-shaped cloisonné enamel jewelry will be held. Champlevé enamel is a unique technique that combines metalworking and enameling, allowing participants to create vibrant and personalized jewelry pieces.

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to personally experience the process of making cloisonné enamel. We will teach you how to fill the engraved grooves on a fish-shaped metal base with enamel powder, and then fuse it at high temperatures to form a crystalline and transparent colored pattern. Finally, you can polish the finished product to give it a captivating luster.

This process not only has a strong sense of creativity, but also resonates with the current exhibition's theme. Just as the exhibition explores, we all yearn to find our own life possibilities.
