Christian Marco

Christian's life as a dancer began at the tender age of 10, as a ballet scholar for the Quezon City Performing Arts in Manila, where he was mentored by some of the major proponents of Philippine dance. Besides ballet, he has undergone training in classic and modern jazz, focusing in Luigi technique and Fosse style. At 13, he joined Dance Focus and started dancing professionally for TV. Soon after, he was commissioned to be one of the resident choreographers of the group. After his 6-year stint with Dance Focus, he joined Hotlegs, the Philippines’ premier jazz dance company, performing in most of its concerts, TV and stage gigs, and tours all over the Philippines and outside the country, until he moved to Hong Kong in 2011.
