黎依藍

Elam Lai started her musical raining at Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts with Ms Barbara Sze, and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Music and Mathematics Education at The Education University of Hong Kong. After that, she pursued a Master's degree in Music Performance at Indiana University (USA) followed by an Artist Diploma at the Academy of Music in Krakow (Poland) with Prof. Florence Sitruk, and graduated in 2020, having received scholarships every year during her studies. In 2018-19, she was the principal harpist of the IU Jacobs School of Music Conductor's Orchestra, She was a First Prize Winner of the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition 2018 and International Music Competition Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso 2018. In 2019, she was awarded second prize in the Rodrigo Harp Concerto Competition organized by the IU Harp Department.

Besides performing as a soloist, Elam also engages actively with ensembles and orchestras, including the Hong Kong Inherit Philharmonic, Hong Kong Youth Choir, Hong Kong Wind Symphony and Hong Kong Young Musicians' Wind Orchestra etc..

As an active educator, Elam is the advisor on the Irish Council (HK) and Classical Music Program of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Jockey Club Yin Yuet Youth S.P.O.T., promoting classical music among local youths.
