Mikayla Wong

Born in 2016, Mikayla's connection to music and violin blossomed from an incredibly young age as she was captivated by the sight and sound of musicians playing the violin. Fueling her passion, Mikayla embarked on her musical journey at the age of four and half. She is currently studying with Hong Kong violinist Brian Choi.

Mikayla's love for music extends across a diverse range of composers, with a special admiration for the timeless works of Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Paganini and Tchaikovsky. She also enjoys Studio Ghibli's music by Joe Hisaishi. Mikayla is inspired by violinists Ray Chen, Hilary Hahn, TwoSet Violin, Stefan Jackiw, Chloe Chua, Elli Choi and her teacher Brian Choi.
