Karlie Leung

Karlie Leung is a 6 year old musical enthusiast, currently at Primary One at St. Paul’s Co-educational College Primary School in Hong Kong. Karlie aspires to be a composer one day, to make a significant impact in the world of music, by creating masterpieces that reflects her experiences and dreams, using a variety of musical instruments, forms and styles.

Karlie began her musical journey from infancy, and has since been receiving formal trainings for piano, vocal and violin. Karlie has achieved merit for Grade 6 in Vocal and Grade 5 in violin both by ABRSM; and is now pursuing for Grade 7 for both Vocal and Violin by ABRSM.

Karlie is grateful of the expansion of her footprints on the stages worldwide, including her violin soloist performance at Carnegie Hall in New York in June 2024; her piano soloist performance at The Hong Kong Cultural Center in July 2024; and her violin winner performance in Guangzhou in August 2024.

Karlie is a multi-award winner in various music competitions both locally and internationally. She was awarded Gold Prize in Cambridge Music Competition in 2022; All-rounded Musician by London Young Musician in 2023; First Place Winner in American Protégé International Music Talent Competition 2024; First Place Winner in Manhattan International Competition 2024; Gold Award by 粵港澳大灣區青少年藝術展演 2024; and Gold Award by Hong Kong Speech & Music Festival in 2024.

In addition to her musical accomplishments, Karlie is a strong linguist, proficient in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and German. Karlie’s linguistic skills complement her musical talents, propelling her aptitude for learning and expressing herself in various forms of art.
