So Wang Kok

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Wang-Kok So was awarded Grade 8 in cello with distinction in 2022, under the tutelage of cellist Chak-Yin Pun.

Wang Kok has been active in various cello competitions and won with flying colours. This includes clinching Gold Award in the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association's 76th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival Cello Concerto Group and Hong Kong Joint School Music Association's ( JSMA ) Joint School Music Competition Secondary School String ( Cello ) Solo- Senior Group in 2024.

Wang Kok is also committed to enriching his experience with orchestras. He joined the Pacific Cello Orchestra in summer 2022-2023. He has also been a member of Metropolitan Youth Orchestra Symphony Orchestra since 1/2023, the Elite Chamber Orchestra since 8/2024 and the Munsang College String Orchestra, Symphonic Band and Symphonic Orchestra since 9/2023.
