ARTWERKS : An exhibition featuring Hong Kong LGBTQIA+ artists
The Stallery is thrilled to present "ARTWERKS", an exhibition of Hong Kong LGBTQIA+ artists in a curated group show that brings together an extraordinary collection of queer art in an LGBTQIA+ owned gallery.

This groundbreaking exhibition showcases the diverse talent and vibrant energy of the artists' works. Seven exceptional artists, each hailing from different backgrounds, life journeys, and mediums converge at The Stallery to display their unique artistic visions and creative narratives.

From paintings and sketches to prints these artists represent the rich cultural heritage and contemporary dynamism of the LGBTQIA+ community in Hong Kong. The group show celebrates our unique story and experience, explores themes of memory, experience, and identity – resulting in a captivating blend of styles, and techniques. Each artwork invites viewers to reflect on their own stories while exploring the myriad ways we express our identities through art.

"ARTWERKS" aims to highlight the diversity and creativity of these artists, showing LGBTQIA+ artists exclusively as a symbol of empowerment. Following the success of "Five Gals" a female artists exhibition, The Stallery has carefully selected established and emerging artists from their network, who have made a significant impact on the art scene in the past couple of years.

This group show marks the first time the gallery has presented such diverse artists artworks, making it a monumental moment for both the artists and The Stallery.

Visitors to the exhibition can expect more than 20+ works that bridge cultural divides, LGBTQIA+ topics and artistic visions. This show will feature a wide range of artistic expressions showcasing each artists' roots, evolution and versatility fostering dialogue and connection in the local community.
