Leung Cheuk Hei

Leung Cheuk Hei is currently a year three student at The Education University of Hong Kong, pursuing Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture and Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Music) Co-terminal Double Degree. With a strong interest in music, Leung obtained Performance Diploma Grade of guzheng, grade 8 piano and grade 8 vocal during his university life. Leung is majoring in guzheng under Ms. Wang Yining, vocal under Mr. David Quah and he also studies choral music and conducting under the guidance of Dr. Bobo Lo, and Mr. Sanders Lau, conducting under Mr. Ma Man Ki.

Leung passionate about music since childhood, he has been joining Music Office Youth Choir when he was small and won Gold Awards in the Youth Mixed Voices, Equal Voices (Male Choirs) and was also named champion in the Youth Mixed Voices category at the 11th International Johannes Brahms Choir Festival. Leung also passionate about conducting, during his secondary school life he was the choir conductor and led the choir in different kind of performance, after that he joined several conducting masterclass such as Sir Stephen Cleobury, Dr. Jeffrey Douma, Mr. Toh Ban Sheng and Mr. Sanders Lau. Besides, Leung brave to try different music ensembles in EdUHK such as symphonic band, orchestra and Chinese orchestra.

Currently, Leung serves as the student conductor of EdUHK Singers, logistics & management and student conductor of Chinese orchestra and liaison officer of symphonic band.
