Ted Lo：WORDS & BEATSJazz World (HK) Ltd., Count-in Music Ltd.

Ted Lo, Hong Kong’s “Godfather of Jazz” is our renowned piano virtuoso, the fact that he is also a great drummer is lesser known to the public.

WORDS & BEATS is a concert in two parts, in the first half we will see Ted performing solo piano to the tunes from his recently released album “Words”, in the second half we will see him leading his newly formed power trio (with bassist Tsang Tak-hong and guitarist Geoff King Luk) from his drums chair. WORDS & BEATS will showcase two different sides of Ted Lo, two sets of very different music, a night that you can expect the unexpected.

- Concert duration is approximately 2 hours with an intermission.
- Recommended for ages 6 and above.
- Audience is strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break

This concert is one of the programmes of “Jazz in the Neighbourhood”, co-presented by Jazz World (HK) Ltd. and Count-in Music Ltd., Venue Partners of Tsuen Wan Town Hall, with the aim of promoting jazz music through a series of performances and education programmes.
