Combining ‘mindfulness’ and ‘somatics’ in its holistic approach to help achieve self-regulation from mind to body, the Programme will introduce contact improvisation to challenge the preconception that dance is an inaccessible art. Much emphasis will be placed on ‘exploring new possibilities in the present’. While constantly seeking breakthroughs, the Programme also allows first-hand experience and exploration on using the body in an alternative way for mind–body balance and arts promotion.
