Due to the health condition of one of the performers, the “Guitar Week: Ralph Towner/ Javier Girotto Duo” concert due to take place on 9 February 2023 (Thursday) will be cancelled. Full refund will be made automatically into the Payme/Paypal account or credit card that was used for the original payment by art-mate in mid-February.

Guitar Week: Ralph Towner / Javier Girotto Duo
Overview
Ralph Towner is best known as the lead composer, guitarist, and keyboardist for the acoustic jazz ensemble Oregon. As one of the few modern jazz musicians to specialise in acoustic guitar, Ralph’s playing often stretches beyond the boundaries of conventional jazz into world music and is quite distinctive.
In this concert, he will be joined by renowned Italian saxophonist Javier Girotto for a rich and fruitful musical dialogue.
Remarks:
- Concert duration is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes without intermission.
- Recommended for ages 6 and above.
- Audience is strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break.
- The presenter reserves the right to change the programme, artists and seating arrangement should unavoidable circumstances make it necessary.
This concert is one of the programmes of “Jazz in the Neighbourhood”, co-presented by Jazz World (HK) Ltd. and Count-in Music Ltd., Venue Partners of Tsuen Wan Town Hall, with the aim of promoting jazz music through a series of performances and education programmes.
