Overview

What do we owe each other? Can we afford not to care?

Marginalized individuals in two cities: Eddie, an unemployed truck driver, caring for his paralyzed ex-wife Ani; Jess, a struggling college graduate, working as a personal caregiver for wealthy yet cerebral palsy-afflicted doctoral student John. Under the winter snow in New Jersey, there is a pervasive sense of growing distance among loved ones.
