Join this Competition to Celebrate Hong Kong's Food Culture Through Doodle Art

An open call for entries from Kindergarten to Secondary students, to express their loves for Hong Kong foods through playful and creative doodles — a spontaneous form of drawing. This competition aims to showcase Hong Kong young talent's creativity, highlight local culture, and bring the community together through art. A fascinating chance to exhibit and celebrate our wide range of youth talent!

Using doodle art drawing to bring Hong Kong's rich and diverse food culture to life. Shortlisted works will be exhibited at the Hong Kong Arts Centre in February 2024. Online tutorials are available for everyone to enjoy the joy of doodle art!

1. Competition Registration
Eligibility: Students currently studying in Hong Kong
Category: Kindergarten Parent-Child, Lower Primary School, Upper Primary School, Secondary School

2. Artwork Guidelines
Drawing paper: Download the designated drawing paper in either landscape or portrait and print this on an A4-size drawing paper.
Drawing tools and mediums: No Restriction. Either colour or black and white doodles are welcome.

3. Entry Submission
Entry Submission Deadline: 2023-12-30 ( 5 PM )
Method: Original hardcopy entry with a written description* put in an envelope marking "Doodle Art Competition, [ Application No. ]", is to be returned by mail to ( The Doodle Art Competition, 8/F, Hong Kong Arts Centre, 2 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong ) ; or submitted to the Drop-in box at the HKAC Ground Floor.

* Explaining the meaning/story behind the Entry and how it reflects the Participant and the Theme of the Doodle Art Competition. The written description should not exceed 500 words in length. It may be submitted in either English or Traditional Chinese
