Opening the MUSE String Quartet Festival, the Chiaroscuro Quartet will present two masterpieces, Beethoven's Op. 59/3 'Razumovsky' and Schubert's 'Death and the Maiden', in their long-awaited Hong Kong debut.
In their second recital in Hong Kong, the Chiaroscuro Quartet will explore the transformative chromaticism of Mozart's 'Dissonance', pairing it with Haydn's contemplative The Seven Last Words of Christ, a monumental yet rarely-programmed masterpiece.
