Community Drum Jam – Japanese Festival SpecialFringe Club

DON DOKO DONN! This month's Community Drum Jam is very special. We are celebrating the Japanese Autumn Festival. Join Japanese percussionist Kumi Masunaga for an exciting opportunity to create music together with drums and percussion instruments from around the world! Experience the Japanese Taiko rhythms, celebratory chants and dance!

Drum Jam is an interactive music-making programme designed for ALL levels from those who have never touched a musical instrument to experienced musicians.

The proven benefits of group drumming include stress relief, immune system strengthening and endorphins ( happy hormone ) release.

Drums and percussion instruments are provided but do bring yours along if you have one! Facilitated by Japanese percussionist Kumi Masunaga and the Drum-Jam Team.

It’s first-come, first-served, so come early to secure your seat and drum! The door opens at 7:30 pm.
