Sign up now to join the field trip "ICH Highlight Tour" in the Tai Po District! This field trip will introduce the community ICH items like Soybean Product Making Technique, Cha Kwo (Steamed Sticky Rice Dumpling) Making Technique, Herbal Tea, Egg Tart Making Technique, Noodles Making Technique, and inspect the Tai Po Old Market Tin Hau Temple, Man Mo Temple and Lam Tsuen River. Participants can explore ICH-related traditional craftsmanship or other items and feel the richness and diversity of ICH in Hong Kong.
Event Registration Guidelines
1. The field trip is conducted in Cantonese and its activity costs are waived.
2. Online Registration is required. Each applicant can only register for a maximum of two persons in the same tour. Each email can be used once only.
3. In case of oversubscription, a computer lottery will be used to process the applications.
4. The registration system will be open from 10:30 AM on May 16 to 6:30 PM on May 17.
5. Successful participants will be notified by email on or before May 23 for details of assembly time and point. If space is available, applicants on a waiting list will be notified via phone or email.
6. A beautiful souvenir will be awarded upon completion of the activity.
7. All applicants have the right to request access to and make correction of personal data as stated in this form in accordance with Section 18, 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Personal data provided in this form will be used for arranging the programme. All personal data will be destroyed within one month after the programme is completed.
Event Rules
1. Please be punctual. Follow the instructions of the staff and visit along the designated route; do not enter restricted areas.
2. Photography and videography will take place on the event day. The ownership of the recorded footage and photos belongs to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and may be used for promotional purposes by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office without further notice.
3.Applicants should pay attention to their own and accompanying persons’ physical condition and consider whether they and accompanying persons are suitable to participate in the field trip. If in doubt, please consult a doctor. I declare that my own health and the health of accompanying person are good enough to manage the activity, and I will be fully responsible for the safety of my own and accompanying person. I understand that if I or accompanying person have any doubts about our physical condition, I or accompanying person should consult a doctor before participating in the event. I hereby waive any legal liability of the Hulu Culture and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office for any injury, illness, death, personal loss, or economic loss I or accompanying person may suffer due to the participation in this event, and I and accompanying person relinquish any related rights, claims, and actions.
4.Please take care of your personal belongings, wear comfortable outdoor clothing and sports shoes, and bring your own drinking water, rain gear, and mosquito repellent.
5. In view of safety, the organisers reserve the right to change the itinerary under special circumstances like bad weather or traffic conditions.
Special Circumstances and Inclement Weather Arrangements
1. If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above, or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force within 3 hours prior to the event day, the event will be postponed or canceled until further notice.
2. The organiser(s) will notify participants as soon as possible via email or phone if feasible.
In case of any disputes, the organiser(s) reserve(s) the right to make the final decision.
