Overview

【Registration system opens: from May 15 at 10AM to May 16 at 6PM】

Would you like to uncover the color secrets of Tang Sancai wares? This immersive experience workshop will take you on a journey to explore the core craftsmanship! Our expert instructor will explain the distinctive characteristics of Tang Sancai during the workshop and demonstrate the glazing process. You will have the opportunity to apply colored glaze onto a ceramic bisqueware yourself, immersing you in the focus and ingenuity of Tang Dynasty craftsmen.

Note: Participants will not be able to take their works home on the day of the workshop. The glazed bisqueware will be transported to a ceramics studio for firing. Finished works will be returned to the museum for participant pick-up approximately three weeks after firing. Please be aware that bisqueware is fragile and there are inherent risks of damage during transportation and firing. The organizers shall not be held liable for any such damage or loss.
