Ng Kwai Lun, Pasu

Ng Kwai-lun Pasu is a Qualified Registered Professional Embalmer in the UK, well-knowned Restorator, Funeral Arranger, Life and Death Educator, Author and Bookstore Owner. Pasu was formerly the Manager and Chief Embalmer of the dissection lab of the Faculty of Medicine in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, in which he launched the "Silent Teacher Body Donation Programme".

Pasu is currently the Co-Founder of Keep It Simple, a social enterprise which provides funeral service; and One Take, social enterprise which provides ‘5 Blessings’ pre-planning service. He is also the Founding President of Hong Kong Life and Death Studies Association, Consultant of The Centre for Spiritual Progress to Great Awakening’s Buddhist Chaplaincy Unit, and The Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong, Lecturer of the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary, and Adjunct Lecturer of National Funeral Directors Association. In 2015, he set up a FaceBook Page 【生死教育x伍桂麟x一切從簡】, and has posted information related to birth, aging, illness and death on it everyday since. The page has now accumulated more than 57,000 followers.

Over the years, Pasu is dedicated to promote body donation, public life-and-death education, pre-planning, funeral planning and emotional support. He is an awardee of SDG Enterprise Awards 2022 and 2023 ( Outstanding Companies ), a nominee of The Spirit of Hong Kong Awards 2021, an awardee of the Hong Kong Humanity Award 2020, an awardee of Ten Outstanding Young Persons 2019 being nominated by Professor Joseph Sung Jao-yiu, and various major local book awards.
