侯善婷

Hau Sin Ting ( Cindy Hau ) ( b.2000 ) is a Hong Kong-born composer and pianist. She obtained her bachelor's degree in composition at Hong Kong Baptist University ( HKBU ) in 2022, and study under the tutelage of Eugene Birman and Camilo Mendez. She is currently studying composition master's degree at KASK & Conservatorium in Belgium, Ghent under the guidance of Daan Janssens.

Her music often draws inspiration from her piano training experiences and exploring varieties of instruments setting in piano and ensemble works. Her recently piano trio work dokodemo ( anywhere ) door ( 2024 ) had been performed in MIRY Concertzaal by Trio Khaldei, and her mixed trio ensemble work NS220. ( 2022 ) with piano, tuba and bass drum is reimagining the auditory experience in the tunnel. Apart from composing, Cindy studied piano with Steinway Artist Carol Yu in Hong Kong during her bachelor's study, and she was a chorister in HKBU women's chorus and HKBU Christian Choir. Her Counterpoint study I. ( 2024 ) for septet will be perform in PASKLAAR Autumn concert at 2024 November.
