巴爾幹擊樂二重奏

Balkan Percussion Duo was formed in 2017 and has, since then, had the inaugural performance on June 21, 2017 for International Music Day (La Fête de la Musique) at the Kolarac Concert Hall in Belgrade, Serbia and several performances in the United States. In February 2018, the duo won Second Prize at the prestigious International Percussion Competition Luxembourg. Invitations to perform across Europe, South America, and Asia followed.

Balkan Percussion Duo embodies a union of two divergent players who share a common background. The duo focuses on collaborations with living composers and performing new percussion repertoire, while keeping rooted in musical tradition by duo's own reinvented transcriptions of famous works. As a result, their distinctive musical tendencies and means of expression give a unique blend of sound.
