Joanna Montefiore graduated with a BA (Honours) in Performing Arts from Middlesex University in London. She performed as an actress in the UK for four years before relocating to Singapore and currently resides in Hong Kong. Her acting credits include Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Sally in Cat in The Hat for Singapore Repertory Theatre, the Nurse in Romeo & Juliet for The London Theatre, New Cross, UK and Alice in Alice in Wonderland for the National Tour, UK. Her credits in pantomime include Blondie Dwarf in Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs for Wild Rice, Singapore, Cinderella in Cinderella for Wyvern Theatre, UK and Toodles in Peter Pan, Return to Never Land for Hong Kong Players. Her roles in musical theatre include Chio Bu in Broadway Beng: Jiak Liu Lian! for Dream Academy, Singapore Esplanade and Little Red Riding Hood in Into The Woods for Simmons Theatre Trent Park, UK. Joanna Montefiore also works as a voice over artist. She is featured in commercials (IKEA), short films (Sing to the Dawn for Infinite Frameworks) and on Television (Fighting Spiders for Mediacorp, Singapore).
